Come Home—Return of the Prodigal Son

What’s it like to wake up with a pig in your face?

Or to wake up greeted by the underside of a freestanding wood‑burning stove—the kind of place you only end up when your life has slipped out of your own hands.

And when reality sinks in, you realize that had you not woken up right there, under that fireplace, you wouldn’t have survived the (too near) alcoholic overdose that put you there in the first place.

Do you really want to live like that...? Is this—life...?

Reflective Routes exists because of the situations that work their way through our lives like a weed forcing its way through cement—the kind that eventually cracks the whole structure open, the way an earthquake splits the ground.

The following information—and all of our offerings throughout Reflective Routes—are reasons to consider self‑surrender to True Grace, your personal return of the Prodigal Son.

Lessons From the Barnyard

Why are you wallowing with the pigs? What brought you to the barnyard in the first place?

At some point, the hope is that everyone of us wakes up and realizes the mess we’re in—and that we helped create it.

Maybe you’ve already had that moment. Maybe you’re standing in front of your own burning bush right now. Or maybe you haven’t seen it yet. Either way, the barnyard has lessons to teach—come on then...

Reflective Routes has noticed something important: the lessons we learn as individuals are very different from the global awakening we’re all living through right now.

Many voices, many fears, many cries—questions and problems that keep us wound up like a top about to pop, perhaps a call to the global return of the Prodigal Son.

Jesus is the answer. It’s always been about Jesus—about the work of the Godhead and our relationship with Him, both as individuals and as part of the Body of Christ.

Just as there are people who genuinely love and follow Christ, there are others who are just as devoted to darkness. Devotion alone isn’t the measure—it’s the direction of the heart.

And sooner or later, every one of us has to wake up, look around, and decide who we’re actually following.

In a way, the whole world most recently had its barnyard moment in the spring of 2020.

History has shaken us awake—not unlike the Tower of Babel, both world wars, and the worldwide‑flood stories echoed across cultures—reminding us why the rainbow greets us after the rain.

When everything familiar cracks open, people (should) start asking deeper questions...

That’s why Reflective Routes exists—to start conversation that causes our complaints to become our path toward self-growth into a Better Way...

The voices crying out today aren’t crying for noise—they’re crying for understanding. And understanding brings clarity. Clarity gives way to stability. Stability grows from knowing.

The video below—Tucker Carlson’s interview with Jeremiah Johnston about the Shroud of Turin—is an awesome place to begin the conversation...

The first step in any relationship is knowing the other person is real.

Jesus lived. And supernaturally, He still lives. He lives within and is seen without. He knows all about everything...

For the return of the Prodigal Son to begin—just like an alcoholic or drug user facing the lies of addiction, or anyone with any type of lie keeping us in blinders—let our hearts soften and break through falseness...

The below videos are supplied to help you consider Jesus, maybe in a way you haven’t before...

The next set of videos comes from Ken’s playlist on YouTube, and they assist our understanding of hermeneutics—the principles and methods of interpreting the Bible.

And, of course, the overall support is toward the conversation that becomes our return of the Prodigal Son.

FYI: The set of videos on your left is the grouping that Ken put (or an associate) put together into a playlist found in Ken's YouTube space, note that the collected grouping is also from JIMIVISION on YouTube.

The order of the videos needs to start with 10 Rules—otherwise, the grouping correctly follows it's intended path and purpose.

As you hang out with Reflective Routes, you'll come to know the tie-in with Ken and Jimi—it's wonderful to share their teaching-n-understandings through YouTubes sharing program—thanks YouTube.
